Responsibilities

Provide training and direction to picking and packing personnel under the direction of the Warehouse Operations Manager

Assist with labor projections and productivity reporting

Help oversee kitting activities and special projects

Maintain supplies necessary to support maximum productivity

Maintain awareness of all available methods of product delivery with carriers

Work with Account Management staff and other internal resources to ensure client work is managed effectively

Train assistant management and picking and packing personnel

Delegate orders and warehouse projects to warehouse personnel

Monitor pack floor staff

Process orders for specific clients

Perform daily warehouse safety inspections and maintain a high degree of operational safety

Assist with projecting labor requirements and managing the workforce effectively

Measure productivity levels for warehouse staff

Delegate cleaning responsibilities and create cleaning schedules

Ensure all packages are shipped daily and in a timely manner

Close all carriers and send up-to-date shipping data

Work closely with clients, warehouse operations staff, and Account Managers

Promote motivation among staff to support efficient and effective warehouse operations

Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes, ensuring they are communicated and implemented within the team

Secure the warehouse daily, complete logs, daily performance reports, and set alarms

Perform other duties as assigned

Promote continuous motivation among staff to maintain an efficient and effective warehouse

Delegate authority and responsibility as required to achieve company goals, maintaining accountability and follow-up on outcomes

Set an example for staff in areas of personal character, commitment, organizational skills, and work habits

Work with other departments within the company to ensure customer satisfaction

Demonstrate the ability to interact and cooperate effectively with all company employees
