Responsibilities

Be an advocate for our users

Design usable, accessible and engaging digital experiences

Collaborate with our cross-functional product and business teams and build upon their vision using sound design principles to ensure alignment and project success

Capture requirements, design flows, wireframes, prototypes and fully fleshed out designs

Document designs and consult with engineers to ensure they are built and function as intended

Effectively demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills

Required

Minimum of 6 months of work experience or a Bachelor's Degree

4 years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/MFA/MBA, etc.) – preferably working in design consultancies, digital product, or established startups

4 years working as a product or digital designer as part of an in-house, agency, or cross-functional design or innovation team

Strong fluency in digital design software including Figma, FigJam, and Adobe products

Experience designing high-fidelity mockups, wireframes, and rapid prototyping

Knowledgeable in human-centered design thinking, UX/UI principles, service design, and user research

Strong understanding of accessibility principles and best practices

Strong verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail

Ability to communicate concepts and recommendations confidently to various audiences

Able to clearly articulate design decisions to team members and stakeholders including product, technology and design leadership teams

Exercises independent judgment with minimal direction from supervisor

Able to collaborate with business partners to build upon their vision using sound design principles and identify key opportunities for improved user experiences

Demonstrates strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects

Self-starter who brings energy and enthusiasm to the work environment
