Sr. Analyst Merchandise Promotions
Giant Eagle, Inc. is seeking a Senior Analyst to help develop insights regarding customer and market trends to inform merchandising plans. This role involves analyzing data and communicating findings to non-technical stakeholders while leading cross-functional teams to drive actionable recommendations.
Responsibilities
Lead cross-functional teams to establish effective analytics to inform business decisions
Interpret results and develop actionable recommendations from the data analysis to build action plans with business stakeholders
Contribute to developing, defining, and completing custom projects and analytics that help drive rich customer understanding to drive a customer centric mentality across our organization
Lead and manage projects, tasks, and stakeholders to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget and to specifications
Coach and develop junior talent within the team to ensure all team members continuing to build on their technical acumen
Qualification
Required
3 to 5+ years of experience in merchandising analytics specifically promotions
Previous experience developing promotional strategies and collaborating with merchandising teams
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and mentor junior analysts
Write SQL, Python & R scripts for data manipulation and analysis
Bachelors Degree in Business, Finance, Economics or related field
Preferred
Retail Industry Experience strongly Preferred
