Responsibilities
Code, debug and maintain several COBOL modules on an IBMi platform
Convert multiple job code modules from FTP to SFTP file transfer protocol
Create a rolling monthly SQL table load of currently active client/product counts
Analyze and fix job code errors that occur in production batch processing
Use COBOL and CL, along with some minor SQL, RPG and QShell scripting, for back-end legacy batch maintenance and enhancements, on AS400 / iSeries / IBM i mainframe
Utilize Aldon and Robot Schedule tools for source code versioning and batch job oversight
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 7 years experience
Online and batch programs using Cobol on the iSeries (AS/400)
Understanding of EDI / LDEX processing
Skills COBOL, RPG, CL, DB2, SQL, QUERY400, ROBOT, SFTP, IMPLEMENTER, ALDON
Responsible for end-to-end development and Maintenance of software
