Responsibilities
Align and lead pharmaceutical operations per established organizational goals
Develop and manage the department budget and overall financial performance
Lead quality assurance initiatives such as internal and external/supplier audits
Manage people-leadership responsibilities such as staffing decisions, mentoring, personnel development, and other workforce strategy
Leads a culture of continuous improvement and regulatory compliance
Manage ethical and legal obligations of the pharmacy department
Qualification
Required
BS in Pharmacy
Demonstrable experience leading the operations of a health care system pharmacy department
Strong baseline knowledge of industry regulatory and ethical compliance standards
People leadership experience in a pharmacy department including strategic operations planning, budgeting, staffing, and operational performance analysis
Accreditation to practice pharmacy in Utah
Preferred
Doctorate of Pharmacy
