Responsibilities
Responsible for leading the approach to program design, placement decisions, and related considerations (e.g., scaling of community-based research, enabling Lilly’s goals for diverse representation in clinical trials, etc.)
Responsible for driving standardization in design decisions within and across therapeutic areas
Responsible for communicating insights for strategies that can optimize trial and program design for time, value, cost, and/or risk considerations while creating accessibility and pathways for participation in Lilly clinical trials
Collaborate with asset team to bring data and insights to support asset strategy, program, and trial design decisions
Anticipate and ensure completion of modeling and scenario needs by applying clinical development, TA, and analytics expertise
Support the use of real-world data and collaborate cross functionally to inform and optimize trial designs
Promote data-driven and risk-based decision making
Support evaluation of new data sources and capabilities that can enhance program and study design decisions
Advise leadership on technologies and process improvements that will enhance functionality and productivity of the team
Provide business user requirements for existing or new technologies and related data sources
Lead the development, release, and adoption of new data, tools and capabilities among users and consumers across CDDA
Provides coaching within the organization that fosters inclusion and innovation, and an external understanding and awareness
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in a scientific or health-related field
Minimum 5 years' experience in the pharmaceutical industry, drug development, data analytics and/or related fields
Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States. Lilly does not anticipate providing sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B, or TN status) for this employment position
Must be willing to relocate or local to Indianapolis
Preferred
Therapeutic expertise and knowledge of the clinical research landscape; ability to acquire and maintain expertise to support portfolio needs
Post-graduate degree(s), e.g., Pharm D, M.S
Analytical ability to use sophisticated software systems while synthesizing data and information
Demonstrated experience in navigating ambiguity
Critical thinking, learning agility, and strategic reasoning
