The Executive Director will be responsible for implementing and managing the acceleration strategy for turnaround districts, coordinating across workstreams, and engaging with district leaders to improve educational outcomes.

Responsibilities

Develop and continuously improve upon a transformation Playbook

Manage technical assistance firm(s) and contracted individuals to develop an EDF (Effective District Framework)-aligned playbook that provides the approaches and tools necessary to effectively facilitate school turnaround at intervention placement districts

Manage Action Planning and Launch Execution Supports

Manage technical assistance provider firm to support accelerator participants to develop their launch plans

Facilitate Intervention Superintendent Information-Sharing Network and Progress Tracking

Facilitate a continuous improvement network across superintendents at intervention placement districts quarterly including in-person discussions to share effective practices and tools and collectively troubleshoot challenges

Lead Project Management and Coordination Across Workstreams

Oversee and drive project management for all major components, ensuring seamless execution

Team management

The ED will coach, support and manage one direct report, a project manager

Required

Experience in managing and implementing educational transformation initiatives

Strong project management skills with the ability to manage complex, multi-layered workstreams

Experience in developing and improving frameworks or playbooks for educational leadership

Ability to coordinate and communicate effectively with various stakeholders, including superintendents, conservators, and technical assistance providers

Experience in facilitating professional development and training for educational leaders

Strong analytical skills to track progress and identify areas for continuous improvement

Ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid environment and travel as required

Experience in coaching and managing team members
