Escrow Officer Floater
Intero Real Estate Services is seeking an Escrow Officer Floater to join their team in Los Angeles. The role involves filling in for other officers and managers, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring the smooth facilitation of escrow transactions.

Responsibilities
Respond to any customer inquiries in a timely, professional and courteous manner
Review contracts and prepare escrow instructions. Monitor the transaction, reviewing for completeness and compliance and ensuring all necessary information and documentation has been ordered and is accurate, i.e. payoff, HOA disclosures. Abstract documents, title reports, loan documentation, and other pertinent information and review for completeness and compliance
Facilitate closings, ensuring all documents and funds required to complete sales and loan transactions are properly prepared and executed
Conduct the closing including explanation of all related documents and closing costs
Ensure that title issues are resolved prior to closing
Prepare and submit closed loan package, deposits and disbursement documentation, recording package, and/or commission package to appropriate department or entities
Prepare Settlement Statements and other required miscellaneous documents
Support the policies and procedures of the Officer or Manager whose desk you’re covering
Perform any additional escrow-related responsibilities as requested or assigned
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
A minimum of two years' experience as an Escrow Officer
Strong computer skills
Superior communication skills, both verbal and written, including presentation skills
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills. Ability to work as a member in a team-oriented environment
Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently under deadline pressure, with ability to occasionally work extra hours during peak times of the month
High degree of integrity, self-motivated, organized, detail oriented, and possesses a strong aptitude for figures
Effective analytical and problem-solving skills
Flexibility to adapt to different work environments and procedures in different office locations
Position will require approval from the Department of Financial Protection and Innovation (DFPI) and EAFC (Escrow Agents Fidelity Corporation)
Must possess and maintain valid driver's license and vehicle insurance
Must have access to a reliable vehicle and ability to travel daily through assigned territory on a scheduled or unscheduled basis
