Responsibilities
Perform a variety of selected tasks and assignments to develop knowledge and skills within the acoustical discipline
Reviewing and assessing the acoustics of architectural, mechanical systems, and other drawings, plans, and specifications for mixed-use, multifamily, commercial, educational, institutional, civic, and other types of facilities
Opportunities for acoustical modeling, calculations, measurements, and site observations of projects that are existing or under construction
Qualification
Required
Some College education
Good technical understanding of the basics of acoustics, physics, and engineering
Ability to work as part of a team of engineers on multiple projects
Motivated and energetic individual
Willingness to challenge abilities in a dynamic work environment
Ability to perform a variety of tasks including reviewing and assessing acoustics of architectural and mechanical systems
Ability to perform acoustical modeling, calculations, measurements, and site observations
