The role involves organizing orders for shipment, coordinating with carriers, and ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining compliance with safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities
Compile and organize orders for shipment
Interact with team members and departments
Coordinate with carriers and third-party logistics providers to ensure timely deliveries
Prepare and complete bills of lading for shipments
Process customer shipping orders and load tickets for full and partial shipments
Enter daily trailer inventory data into Excel and share with relevant departments
Notify carriers and drivers of shipments when necessary
Verify orders/loads for accuracy and release for invoicing
Complete daily weight sheets (2nd shift only)
Maintain trailer inventory records and email updates
Support quality standards and initiate corrective actions when needed
Work safely and follow all company policies
Special assignments as assigned
Maintain a safe and harmonious working environment holding self and others accountable to OSHA and ASSA ABLOY standards
Assure compliance with federal, state, local and corporate policies, regulations, AADG programs and policies and the ASSA ABLOY Code of Conduct
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED required
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to operate computer and office equipment
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
