IDD Lead Group Home Program Manager

RHA Health Services is a company dedicated to helping individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, mental health, and substance use needs live their best lives. They are seeking an IDD Lead Group Home Program Manager to oversee administrative and personnel functions, ensure compliance, and coordinate quality assurance within the unit.

Health Care

Responsibilities

Working closely with clinical and professional healthcare staff to maintain communication and provide feedback, standardizing procedures, and expediting the implementation of person-centered plans
Provides shift coverage in times of acute shortages of direct support staff. Provides on call coverage for people supported they support and services as needed
Works closely with other clinical/professional staff to maintain communication and provide feedback, standardize procedures, expedite support plan implementation and workflow and to improve the efficiency of subordinates
Works closely with Qualified Professional and other clinical/professional staff to maintain communication and provide feedback, standardize procedures, expedite Person Centered Plan implementation and workflow and to improve efficiency of team
All other duties as assigned

Qualification

Required

A high school diploma or equivalent
One year of experience working with people with developmental disabilities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Flexible schedule and availability to provide on-call coverage as needed
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must be able to regularly lift and carry up to 20 lbs. and occasionally pull at least 40 lbs
Must be able to squat, kneel, crawl, crouch, climb, and stoop as part of regular job duties
Must be able to use hands and fingers to handle or operate objects, tools, or controls
Required to stand and walk for extended periods
Must be able to demonstrate proficiency in CPR from floor level, which requires working on hands and knees, bending, standing, and lifting
Vision requirements include close, distance, and peripheral vision
Must be able to talk and hear
Exception – Deaf and Hard of Hearing Programs: For these programs only, employees must be fluent in American Sign Language (ASL). The requirement to talk and hear does not apply

Preferred

CPR, first aid, NCI and/or MedTech certification, a plus
