IT Data Integration & DevOps Analyst

They are seeking an IT Data Integration & DevOps Analyst to manage and optimize enterprise data across Microsoft technologies, ensuring accurate and secure data flows that support analytics and operational decision-making.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain data integrations across operational systems, Dataverse, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Dynamics 365
Ensure synchronization, accuracy, availability, and consistency of data between operational and analytical environments
Develop, support, and optimize ETL and ELT processes for analytics and reporting platforms, including Power BI
Monitor and improve data quality through validation rules, reconciliation processes, profiling, and quality checks
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for data and application components using Azure DevOps and related tools
Automate deployments and manage environment configurations to ensure consistent release processes across environments
Monitor data pipelines and system performance; troubleshoot integration, pipeline, and deployment issues
Collaborate closely with the Business Data Analyst to align data models, integration logic, and structures with reporting requirements
Develop and maintain data models for both operational and dimensional databases
Maintain clear technical documentation for data flows, integrations, transformations, and DevOps processes
Collaborate with Solutions Architects, Integration Developers, vendors, and IT leadership on platform enhancements and issue resolution

Required

Five (5) or more years of experience in data integration, data management, or DevOps within Microsoft-based environments
Hands-on experience with Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, Dataverse, and Dynamics 365 integrations
Strong proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and data transformation
Experience supporting CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or similar tools
Familiarity with APIs, ETL/ELT processes, and system integration best practices
Understanding of Power BI datasets, dataflows, and enterprise data connectivity
Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance standards such as FERPA
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Strong collaboration and communication skills, including working with vendors and cross-functional teams
Bachelor's degree required in information systems, computer science, data engineering, or equivalent experience

Preferred

Experience with automation scripting using PowerShell or Python
Master's degree preferred
