New Grad, Entry LevelDashiell Corporation is seeking a Civil Designer to perform routine design assignments under close supervision. The role involves drafting and utilizing CAD skills while ensuring the quality and accuracy of work on various civil engineering projects.

Responsibilities
Produce new drawings from examples of previous projects and/or standards with some supervision
Research information in catalogues, specifications, corporate standards, or other reference material
Calculate structure heights and weights, concrete volumes, equipment fit-up, or other basic tasks
Learn and properly use the document management system
Learn and apply corporate standard engineering practices
Take personal responsibility for the quality and accuracy of his/her work
Bring potential project-related problems and possible solutions to the attention of the responsible party
Travel out of town for short periods of time as required by projects and assignments
Other duties as required
Qualification
Required
Associates degree in drafting & Design is required
Extensive experience in drafting disciplines with a background in civil / structural or transmission design is strongly preferred
Experience with AutoCAD 2010 or newer is required
Thorough knowledge of CAD will be required
Preferred
Experience with Microstation is a plus
