Responsibilities

Draft, negotiate, and manage rights-in content licensing, acquisition, and co-production agreements
Advise on copyright, trademark, chain of title, and other IP issues in content deals
Provide practical, business-focused guidance on content acquisitions
Collaborate across content, distribution, marketing, finance, and product teams
Maintain deal templates and ensure agreements align with internal policies and emerging legal issues

Required

10+ years in rights-in content licensing, media/entertainment law, and IP transactions
JD and active bar membership (CA or NY, or eligible in CA)
Experience in-house or at a top-tier law firm supporting major media, streaming, or entertainment companies
Deep experience negotiating complex content acquisition/licensing-in agreements
Strong IP and chain of title expertise
Knowledge of TV, film, streaming, and digital media industries
Excellent drafting, deal management, and communication skills
