Responsibilities
Program, set up, and operate 5-axis CNC machines
Develop and optimize CNC programs for complex, tight-tolerance parts
Interpret blueprints, CAD models, and GD&T
Select tooling, set offsets, and dial in fixtures
Troubleshoot machining issues and improve cycle times
Perform in-process and final inspections using precision measuring tools
Work closely with engineering, supervisors, and other machinists
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
Qualification
Required
Strong experience with 5-axis CNC machining
CNC programming experience required
Solid understanding of machining strategies and complex setups
Ability to work independently and take ownership of jobs
Steel-toe boots required
Safety glasses required
Reliable attendance and a team-player attitude
Preferred
Experience machining steel and other metals preferred
