Responsibilities
Drives a company vehicle daily to multifamily jobsites to inspect flooring installations done by our subcontracted flooring installers
Reports unacceptable results and follows up on incidents to confirm resolution in a timely manner
Identifies installation defects through the flooring inspection and, if able, remedies minor issues using Company's tools
Logs all quality inspections and in-person customer calls
Meets with subcontracted flooring installers in the field and at the assigned branch location to discuss installations issues
Authorized to approve floor prep on-site
Meets with vendor and manufacturer reps to address product recommendations, concerns, questions, and problems. Stays abreast of new product and installation methods. Participates in on-site vendor training sessions
Meets with company customers, including property managers and maintenance personnel
Measures rooms for new flooring and creates a materials list
Picks up and delivers material to jobsites/subcontractors, if needed
Assists in the warehouse operations
Performs all other duties assigned by management
Qualification
Required
A valid driver's license and a clean driving record
Ability to perform floor covering repairs if the need arises
Capable of lifting and carrying up to 50-75 lbs
Preferred
Being fluent in both English & Spanish
Prior knowledge and experience in carpet and vinyl flooring materials and related supplies
Forklift experience
