The Accounting Manager will oversee day-to-day accounting operations, manage the month-end close process, and assist with financial reporting and consolidations.

Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day accounting of Senior Accountant and outsourced accounting firms, including bank and credit card transaction entry

Approve bills and customer invoices in accordance with company policies

Approve JEs posted by the Senior Accountant and outsourced accountant

Maintain documentation of accounting policies, procedures, and workflows as the organization matures

Own and manage the month end close process to meet investor reporting deadlines

Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules

Ensure accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with US GAAP

Perform variance and flux analysis

Maintain and continuously improve close documentation, timelines, and controls

Assist in the preparation of multi-entity consolidation, including intercompany transactions, eliminations, and reconciliations

Assist with foreign currency accounting, including remeasurement and translation

Partner with the international subsidiary’s external accounting firm to ensure accurate and timely reporting

Required

7–10 years of progressive accounting experience

Experience with multi-entity, multi-currency consolidations

Hands-on experience with NetSuite or a similar ERP system

Strong working knowledge of US GAAP, including ASC 606

Proven ownership of the month-end close process

Experience working with international subsidiaries or global operations
