Responsibilities

Respond to emails and inquiries from team members regarding payroll, missed punches, timesheet inquiries and time off requests

Assist with payroll processing including data entry, verification, and documentation

Audit payroll records and import files to ensure accuracy and compliance

Help address tax inquiries and support tax filing preparation activities

Contribute to special projects related to payroll operations and process improvements

Perform general administrative tasks to support the payroll department

Learn payroll best practices and develop professional skills in a supportive environment

Qualification

Microsoft OfficePayroll processesAttention to detailCommunication skillsOrganizational skills

Required

Currently enrolled in a college or university program

Basic understanding of Microsoft Office applications

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Effective written and verbal communication abilities

Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive information

Some exposure to payroll processes or experience working closely with payroll functions (e.g., handling timesheets, assisting with payroll-related tasks, or coursework related to payroll)

Preferred

Pursuing bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, Finance/ Accounting or a related field of study

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Analytical and creative thinking capabilities

Strong communication, customer service and organizational skills

Self-driven, team-oriented individual with a service mindset
