Regional Coordinator, JAG-SC

Responsibilities
Under the general supervision of the Jobs for America’s Graduates – South Carolina (JAG-SC) Program Manager, the JAG-SC Regional Coordinator manages JAG-SC services within a defined region of the State of South Carolina
The Regional Coordinator serves as the liaison between the State Office and schools within the assigned area and requires the ability to travel throughout the state to conduct a variety of tasks
Responsibilities of the Regional Coordinator include ensuring JAG-SC’s mission is adhered to and model standards are met through site visits, classroom observations, discussion with school officials, advising, counseling, and directing Specialists
Provide training and technical assistance to sites on JAG model components
Oversee the timeliness and integrity of JAG Specialists’ data entries into data management systems to include monitoring outcomes and providing technical assistance
Assists with the planning, preparation and execution of annual JAG-SC events and special projects
Participate in staff, regional, statewide, and national meetings, as well as staff development activities
Qualification
Required
A bachelor's degree and relevant program experience
Successful candidates will be an energetic self-starter with strong attention to detail
Demonstrate effective written and oral communication and organizational skills
The ability to relate well with a diverse range of people and values
Demonstrate skills necessary to manage activities and performance from a distance
Proficiency is required in Microsoft applications, such as Word and Excel

Preferred
A bachelor's degree in social service, counseling, business, education, or a related discipline
Experience working with youth accompanied by knowledge of child development and the issues associated with underserved youth populations
