Responsibilities
Partner with distributor FAEs and the regional Distribution Sales Manager
Work with our distribution FAEs to promote Altera technology to win new FPGA business:
Present the technical capabilities of whole product portfolio
Engage with customers' architects and key decision makers to understand their applications, influence their design choices, and develop creative solutions to their problems
Create and deliver technical proposals based on product knowledge, customer requirements, and inputs from internal teams
Contribute to and execute on territory, account, and opportunity plans
Provide technical support to customers
Mentor and teach distribution FAEs to develop technical knowledge and skills
Build strong and influential relationships within Altera and the customer base
Lead the technical development & execution of product and applications based customer campaigns and proofs of concept
Qualification
Required
BS in Electronics Engineering or equivalent with 5+ years of design experience and 3+ years of experience in Field Applications Engineering
Must have good presentation and interpersonal skills and be comfortable presenting technology and products
Must be proficient in the use of FPGA development tools
Willing to travel
