Responsibilities
Drive the vision for SIP by overseeing teams that are building the platform that powers Sales products such as EAC (Einstein Activity Capture), ECI (Einstein Conversation Insights)
Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing engineering team to deliver key features for various business needs
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including architects, product owners, and engineers, to deliver features and collaborate on critical product decisions
Foster a positive team culture, provide technical guidance, and support career development for team members
Define and communicate the engineering vision and roadmap
Qualification
Required
B.S./M.S. in Computer Science or a related field
9+ years of software development experience, with 3+ years in management leading one or two teams
Experience building large-scale distributed systems in a high-availability customer-facing environment
Strong technical foundation in modern public cloud architectures (AWS, GCP, Azure) and scalable backend systems
Clear communicator and collaborator across product, GTM, and executive functions
High technical fluency—can challenge and support platform and AI discussions
Preferred
Experience building large scale data ingestion pipelines with low latencies
Experience building AI-enabled sales products for enterprise customers
