They are seeking a Member Service Representative I who will promote credit union products and services, provide counsel to members, and perform member transactions under supervision.

Responsibilities

Responsible for the promotion of credit union products and services to members either on the telephone or in person

Provides counsel to new and existing members in regards to the various credit union services with an emphasis on all current promotions

Performs assigned member transactions as required

May be required to support other departments as needed up to 75% of the time, including but not limited to inbound and outbound member service phone calls

Required

High school graduate or equivalent

One to three years of experience within a financial institution with demonstrated success opening new accounts, delivering excellent member service, and processing and funding consumer loans

Advanced knowledge of credit union products and services

Ability to manage the workflow under minimal supervision

Effective organizational and communication skills, with an emphasis on professionalism and delivering a high quality of member service

Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Word

Advanced knowledge of the credit union's core system
