The intern will be responsible for various tasks including installing equipment, handling tools, and ensuring compliance with wiring codes.

Responsibilities

Install communications and computer equipment

Using a variety of hand and power tools

Productively and safely install wire and electrical cable which they measure, cut, bend and thread through metal tubing called conduits

Assist in splicing wires at juncture points and feed/pull wiring into control centers and distribution boxes, transformers and transducers, switch gear and electrical outlets, and other permanent equipment

Cleanup activity

Gathering and transporting materials and tools to electricians on the construction project
