The Admission Coordinator will be responsible for obtaining and reviewing admission documents, supervising interviews, maintaining records, and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities
Obtain and review admission documents, ensure completion and forward to the appropriate departments as necessary
Supervise or perform interviews of residents/guardians and obtain required information and signatures
Assist in the orientation program for residents/personnel
Maintain an accurate record of available beds
Develop and maintain a good working rapport with inter-department personnel, as well as other departments within the facility
Maintain a resident waiting list in accordance with established policies and procedures
Keep current on Medicare/Medicaid provider regulations for skilled nursing facilities
Maintain daily and monthly census report as directed
Qualification
Required
Admissions experience in a healthcare facility required
Long term care experience required
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well both independently and part of an interdisciplinary team
Positive attitude and driven by desire to serve others
Must have clinical experience
