Chief Executive Officer
CARC Inc. is dedicated to empowering individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and they are seeking a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to provide visionary leadership. The CEO will be responsible for ensuring organizational sustainability, enhancing community partnerships, and implementing policies to support CARC's mission and values.

Responsibilities
Provide visionary, compassionate, and strategic leadership to advance CARC’s mission
Accountable to the Board of Directors, steward CARC’s values, culture, and long-term direction
Ensure that residential supports, day habilitation, vocational programs, clinical services, and community partnerships operate at the highest standards of care, compliance, and client experience
Responsible for organizational and financial sustainability through strong fiscal management and regulatory excellence
Guide the development of core infrastructure and strengthen communication systems
Cultivate a culture of trust, accountability, and collaboration across a 24/7 operation
Implement policies, support sound governance, and deepen community and state-level relationships
Diversify revenue streams to position CARC for long-term resilience
Grow program funding and oversee public relations efforts
Proactively address potential legal, regulatory, or compliance challenges
Learn CARC’s programs and workforce dynamics while leveraging strong leadership and interpersonal skills to unify the organization
Serve as CARC’s chief ambassador, building meaningful connections with families, employees, donors, volunteers, partners, and the broader Carlsbad community
Qualification
Required
Visionary, compassionate, and strategic leadership skills
Experience in empowering individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
Accountability to a Board of Directors
Strong fiscal management skills
Regulatory excellence
Knowledge of Medicaid-based funding models, including rebasing cycles and licensing requirements
Ability to develop core infrastructure and strengthen communication systems
Cultivation of a culture of trust, accountability, and collaboration
Experience in implementing policies and supporting sound governance
Ability to deepen community and state-level relationships
Skills in diversifying revenue streams
Experience in growing program funding
Oversight of public relations efforts
