Responsibilities
Define and own the end-to-end architecture for End User Computing, including endpoint devices, operating systems, identity, access, collaboration platforms, and endpoint security
Develop, maintain, and communicate the EUC technology roadmap in alignment with enterprise architecture principles and business strategy
Translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and supportable technical designs
Evaluate emerging EUC technologies and vendors and provide clear recommendations based on business value, risk, and operational impact
Establish and enforce EUC architecture standards, patterns, and best practices
Govern the introduction of new EUC technologies to ensure compliance with enterprise architecture, security, and regulatory requirements
Develop and maintain architectural artifacts, standards documentation, and decision records within the enterprise architecture repository
Provide architectural oversight for EUC initiatives and projects from design through implementation
Review solution designs to ensure availability, performance, scalability, security, and recoverability requirements are met
Partner with engineering and operations teams to ensure solutions are implemented in accordance with approved architecture
Collaborate with Information Security, Infrastructure, Networking, and Application teams to ensure EUC solutions integrate effectively with the broader enterprise environment
Serve as a technical advisor to business stakeholders, clearly communicating architectural decisions and tradeoffs
Provide technical leadership and mentoring to EUC engineers and administrators
Contribute to the maturity and consistency of enterprise architecture practices
Qualification
Required
12+ years of Information Technology experience
2+ years of experience in architecture for larger organizations
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or a related field
Any suitable combination of education and experience will be considered
Superior knowledge of multiple, diverse technical configurations, technologies and processing environments
Advanced level knowledge of the following technology architecture domains: application, collaboration, data integration, networks, platform, security and systems management, site reliability engineering
Advanced collaboration skills with the ability to handle conflict and to work with a distributed team
