State Sales Manager

Jaunty is seeking an experienced and results-driven State Sales Manager to lead sales execution and account growth across New York State. This role is responsible for building programming, forecasting, delivering revenue, developing and coaching field sales talent, and strengthening relationships across key retail partners statewide.

Responsibilities

Own and manage a team of field sales representatives statewide, driving consistent revenue growth and market share across New York
Lead, coach, and develop our outside field sales team to achieve individual and territory performance targets
Develop reporting and analyses for the field team across our evolving tech stack to support the efficiency of the field sales team
Build and maintain strong relationships with dispensary partners, buyers, and key stakeholders throughout the state
Execute sales strategies aligned with company goals, product launches, and promotional initiatives
Analyze territory performance using CRM systems and real-time dashboards to identify trends, opportunities, and risks
Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Field Marketing, and Operations to ensure alignment and execution
Conduct regular field visits, ride-alongs, and training sessions to support team effectiveness and consistency
Ensure compliance with all New York State cannabis regulations and internal sales policies

Required

5+ years of experience in outside sales management, with a proven track record managing a high-volume territory
1+ year of experience in the legal cannabis industry or a similar regulated CPG industry preferred
Strong leadership and coaching skills with a passion for developing high-performing teams
Excellent analytical abilities and hands-on experience developing reporting and working with CRM systems and real-time dashboards
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Self-motivated, highly organized, and able to work autonomously while making data-driven decisions
Willingness to travel extensively within New York State for field visits, training, and team meetings

Preferred

1+ year of experience in the legal cannabis industry or a similar regulated CPG industry preferred
