Responsibilities

Define and implement reporting standards for accounts receivable in service and collision, ensuring accurate tracking of payments and interactions with insurance companies
Establish disciplinary actions and guidelines for team members who work with insurance companies to maintain compliance and timeliness
Ensure data integrity in accounts receivable systems by auditing reports vs records and resolving discrepancies promptly
Collaborate with training teams to develop and deliver process education for accounts receivable, focusing on best practices and efficiency
Monitor and analyze accounts receivable performance metrics to identify areas for improvement at the field level
Act as a liaison between service/collision teams, finance operations, and insurance companies to facilitate smooth payment processes, integrating EFT or other technologies
Provide recommendations for process enhancements to streamline accounts receivable operations and improve customer satisfaction

Required

Proven experience in accounts receivable, preferably within the automotive service or collision repair industry
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience
Strong understanding of financial reporting, data integrity, and process compliance in a service-oriented environment
Excellent organizational and analytical skills to manage data accuracy and monitor performance metrics
Ability to develop and deliver training materials on accounts receivable processes and policies
Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and enforce disciplinary standards effectively

Preferred

Experience working with insurance companies and navigating payment processes for service and collision claims
