Program Manager, V-TOP Region 2 Institution-Led Partnership

Responsibilities

Provide programmatic strategy and day-to-day leadership for the V-TOP Region 2 Institution-led Partnership initiatives
Convene regional partners
Plan and execute key initiatives such as the Regional Career Trek Program and the Student Experience Conference & Expo
Conduct a micro-internship feasibility study
Serve as the primary liaison to statewide partners (VEDP/VOEE)
Supervise a student intern
Demonstrate outcomes through effective reporting and information sharing
Collaborate closely with CPD Leadership Team and the Center for Economic & Community Engagement at Virginia Tech
Represent Region 2/CPD at relevant state/regional convenings and professional associations
Attend relevant Career and Professional Development team meetings

Required

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Demonstrated experience in planning and executing multi-stakeholder programs/events and facilitating partner engagement
Strong relationship management, facilitation, and written/oral communication skills with diverse partners
Evidence of data-informed planning and outcomes reporting; ability to manage budgets and timelines

Preferred

Master's degree in a related field
Experience in career services, employer engagement, workforce/economic development, or regional partnerships
Familiarity with Virginia's talent ecosystem (e.g., VEDP, VOEE, workforce boards) and work-based learning models (internships, micro-internships)
