Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Solutions Engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment

Develop and implement training programs to enhance team technical expertise and keep skills current with evolving technologies

Set clear goals, monitor performance metrics, and drive continuous improvement in solution delivery and team operations

Oversee the design, implementation, and optimization of network switching solutions, including Layer 2/3 switching, SDN, and automation

Guide the team in developing and executing solution-led strategies to achieve business outcomes and sales targets

Provide advanced technical guidance on complex networking architectures, protocols, and interoperability

Act as a trusted advisor for customers, translating business requirements into technical solutions that address customer pain points

Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and internal teams

Support sales teams by articulating the value and capabilities of networking solutions, participating in major bids, and driving customer adoption

Collaborate with product managers, architects, and other engineering teams to influence product strategy and roadmap

Convey market and customer requirements back to product and business units to inform future product development

Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging networking technologies, and best practices to identify opportunities for innovation

Act as a thought leader and advocate for the organization’s networking solutions, both internally and externally

Required

Extensive experience in networking technologies, with deep knowledge of network switches, routing, protocols, and architecture

Proven leadership and management skills, including experience leading technical teams and cross-functional collaboration

Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving abilities, and project management experience

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences and build strong stakeholder relationships

Customer-focused mindset with a track record of translating customer needs into effective technical solutions

Experience with network automation, assurance, SDN, and large-scale infrastructure deployments is highly desirable

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred
