Responsibilities

Assist in the development of electrical system layouts, schematics, and plans using AutoCAD and Revit

Prepare and update electrical drawings and documentation based on engineer input and project specifications

Support engineers in conducting calculations for lighting, power distribution, and other electrical systems

Research and apply relevant electrical codes and standards (e.g., NEC, IEEE, state/local codes)

Coordinate with architects, mechanical engineers, and other disciplines to ensure design integration

Participate in field visits to gather existing conditions and verify installation compliance

Organize and maintain project files, documentation, and design revisions

Assist in reviewing vendor and manufacturer submittals for compliance with design specifications
