Valley Bank is offering a unique and challenging 9-week internship program for students interested in the banking industry. As an intern, you will work on projects that allow you to gain real-world skills and experience while contributing to the credit department's activities.

Portfolio management reporting

Perform financial analysis on credits

Assist and observe the commercial lending underwriting process

Assist the credit department on their annual review of commercial credits

Prepare cash flows, debt to income, and loan to value worksheets

Enter data for financial covenants

Financial Covenant review, input, and testing

Qualification

Required

Excellent verbal and written communications skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office product suite

Preferred

Enrollment in a 4-year college or university with a concentration in Economics, Finance, or Business preferred
