They are seeking a detail-oriented Real Estate Attorney to assist with legal matters related to their real estate operations, including drafting legal documents and managing the closing process.

Responsibilities

Provide legal advice related to property and real estate dealings

Identify and assess legal risks across real estate development and construction projects

Provide proactive strategic advice on risk mitigation, contract negotiation, and compliance

Draft, review, and negotiate complex real estate agreements, including purchase and sale agreements, commercial leases, land use agreements, development and construction contracts, easements, joint development agreements, letters of intent, non-disclosure agreements, restrictive covenants for subdivisions and master-planned communities and documents ancillary to real estate purchase and sale agreements, development, and construction

Manage title objections and closing process with title companies and ensure marketable title for new developments

Support the General Counsel and corporate office with corporate governance and entity management, including formation, preparation of necessary documents (e.g., bylaws, resolutions, certificates, agendas), maintenance of corporate records, and compliance with corporate policies and regulatory requirements

Review, draft, and negotiate real estate contracts and lease agreements

Ensure compliance with real estate laws and regulations

Coordinate with real estate agents and brokers to finalize transactions
