The Steel Processing Supervisor will oversee personnel, processing, and maintenance during production shifts to ensure the highest quality alloy steel is produced efficiently and safely.

Responsibilities

Safety & Environment- Provide a safe work environment and promote employee safety as the number one goal at FSP

Productivity- Work to achieve higher asset utilization through improved reliability and scheduling efficiency

Quality- Promote an understanding of customer needs and the necessity for delivering our products on time

Maintenance – Increase the efficiency of the maintenance crews by providing direct supervision and support in the areas of job priorities, assignments, staffing, area cross training, delay reduction, breakdown support, schedule adherence, etc

Continuous Improvement- Continue the development of technology and create the environment that encourages this in others and seek continual improvement. Promote aggressiveness and innovation to push the limits of normal operation

Communication- Maintain good employee relations - represent the company to employees, customers and public

Cost- Maximize potential of all resources

Required

High School or equivalent with at least 7 years of experience in manufacturing with 1 year of experience in a supervisory role preferred

Preferred

Associate Degree in business management, technology or related with at least 4 years of experience in manufacturing with 1 year of experience in a supervisory role preferred

Bachelor's Degree in business management, technology or related with at least 2 years of experience in manufacturing with 1 year of experience in a supervisory role preferred
