Manages the administrative hub of a nursing floor
Handling patient records (admissions, transfers, discharges)
Managing communication (phones, call lights, messages)
Ordering supplies
Scheduling
Coordinating with nurses and doctors
Acting as the essential link for smooth unit operations and patient/family interaction
Ensuring paperwork is accurate
Supplies are stocked
Information flows efficiently in a busy setting
Qualification
Required
High school graduate or equivalency
Previous experience as a Nursing Assistant in a Long Term Care/Nursing Home Facility required
Must possess current certification as a Nursing Assistant in New York State
Preferred
