Valley Bank is seeking a Credit Intern to assist the Credit department with portfolio management, loan review, and data entry for covenants. The role involves performing financial analysis, assisting in commercial lending underwriting, and preparing financial worksheets.

Perform financial analysis on credits

Assist and observe the commercial lending underwriting process

Assist the credit department on their annual review of commercial credits

Prepare cash flows, debt to income, and loan to value worksheets

Enter data for financial covenants

Excellent verbal and written communications skills

Preferred

Enrollment in a 4-year college or university with a concentration in Economics, Finance, or Business preferred
