Senior Staff Accountant
NKSFB, LLC is the largest business management firm in the country, specializing in concierge-style services for high achievers in various industries. The Senior Staff Accountant will maintain accurate financial records, analyze data, and provide insights to support decision-making within the Business Management department.
Accounting
Responsibilities
Oversee financial statements preparation and analysis
Supervise accounting processes and procedures
Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts
Review and approve journal entries
Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations
Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting
Provide guidance and support to junior staff
Develop and implement financial controls
Analyze financial data and prepare reports for the Partners
Identify areas for process improvements and implement solutions
Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial accuracy and efficiency
Review and correct financial statements and general ledgers
Review client cash flow reporting packages
Prepare/review tax packages and an understanding of tax deadlines to ensure tax payments and filings are made in a timely manner
Review 1099 packages, Los Angeles City Business renewals, Business Property Statement filings and any other government/local filings
Qualification
Required
AgilLink experience
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting
Experience with financial modeling and forecasting
Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Competency in reading and recording Brokerage accounts
Ability to work with complex financial data and perform data analysis
Knowledge of financial statement preparation and analysis
Familiarity with regulatory compliance and financial reporting requirements
Ability to prepare client meeting packages
Excellent communication skills for presenting financial information to stakeholders
Four + years of accounting and business management experience
BSc/BA in business management, accounting, finance, or relevant field, MSc/MA, CFP and/or CPA is a plus
Extensive knowledge of CCH systems
Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
Basic Tax knowledge (personal and business)
Payroll Knowledge
