Responsibilities

This position will develop production schedules establishing sequence and timeframe of manufacturing operations in order to meet production requirements as well as schedules the procurement of raw materials to meet forecasted and customer orders for given products
Routine interfacing with management, forecasting, project engineers, procurement and manufacturing
Supports the site supply planning process, site inventory and driving inventory optimization projects within the site while ensuring high customer service level
Supports and maintains inventory management processes for finished/semi-finished goods and/or raw materials in line with company guidelines
Identifies key root causes for non-performance and drives improvement initiatives across business(es)
Management of larger orders on a project level working with project engineers on custom builds, custom buys, custom software as well as manufactured units

Required

A Bachelor's Degree and/or 5+ Years of Manufacturing Experience is required
Sound knowledge of Microsoft products
Working knowledge in manufacturing processes, inventory management, and/or material requirements planning (MRP)
Candidates must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US

Preferred

Technical Knowledge and experience in a manufacturing environment (Inventory Management, Supply Chain Operations, SAP or a similar information system, KANBAN, APICS, etc) is preferred
