Lead strategic client and project pursuits

Manage projects

Provide technical services

Staff administration

Liaise with marketing support services

Contract reviews

Oversee quality of deliverables

Supervise and mentor staff

Coordinate working sharing with staff on the Continental United States

Prepare annual revenue forecasts and budgets

Monitor performance of the business group

Sell and win projects that match the expertise and developmental goals of the staff

Required

Bachelor's degree in a Professional, Architecture, Engineering or closely related field

A minimum of 10 years experience

Actively engaged in professional or industry associations to enhance HDR technical expertise and brand

Ability to work cooperatively with regional and local office managers, other area business group directors, technical directors and marketing managers

An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must

Preferred

Minimum 10 years of experience which include strong leadership experience in providing consulting services (engineering, environmental, or regulatory) for complex projects

Specific knowledge of the Hawaii market is a plus

Demonstrated ability to successfully lead client teams in support of client development and project execution

Demonstrated experience in organizational development, building and nurturing team structure for program growth and resiliency

Demonstrated experience with leading diverse teams in an inclusive and proactive manner in executing high quality and timely work for clients

Committed to quality, process improvements, and upholding HDR values

Actively engaged in professional or industry associations to enhance HDR technical expertise and brand

Ability to work cooperatively with regional and local office managers, other area business group managers, technical directors, and marketing managers
