Responsibilities
Maintaining analytical equipment including preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, calibrating, and verifying
Communicate and collaborate with the researchers and engineers running engine testing
Hands-on work with various engine exhaust analytical equipment, including but not limited to installing, calibrating, verifying, and troubleshooting FTIRs, HFIDs, Pressure Transducers, and Thermocouples
Preventative Maintenance responsibilities will include the use of small hand tools to ensure optimal performance and longevity of equipment
Lifting of equipment less than 50 pounds will be necessary
Qualification
Required
Associate's Degree technical discipline or trade school, required
Minimum 1-2 years of hands-on experience repairing and troubleshooting small electronics or analytical equipment, required
Strong computer skills (Microsoft products such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint), required
Preferred
Bachelor's Degree technical discipline or trade school, preferred
Proficiency with electrical test equipment, such as a multimeter, preferred
Analytical equipment preparation and operation, such as FTIR and HFID analyzers, preferred
Calibration and Verification of Pressure Transducers and Thermocouples, preferred
