Responsibilities
Maintain and improve mill wide automation, including PLC’s, HMI’s, Level 2 systems, drives, and industrial robots
Provide technical support for maintenance and operations
Conduct training and develop standard operating procedures
Work closely with operation and maintenance teams to ensure continuous improvements
Demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times
Qualification
Required
Two year degree in a related field or 3 years of equivalent work experience
Preferred
Knowledge of the melting process and related equipment
Proficient in PLC, HMI, and Drive software
Strong PLC, HMI, Drives, Networking and Computer troubleshooting skills
Knowledge of electrical engineering principle
Experience with industrial robots, controllers and programming
