Lowes Foods is seeking a Staff Accounting Intern to assist their accounting team with various tasks. The intern will focus on learning entry-level accounting tasks, including journal entries, reconciliations, and audit assistance, while also gaining hands-on experience in finance.

Assist the staff accounting team
Journal entries, reconciliations, and audit assistance
Assist with fuel invoicing, payment, and reconciliation
Weekly journal entry posting
Daily fuel reconciliation and payment
Weekly reporting tasks
Fixed asset analysis
Assist with project work as necessary, including migrating some items to Power BI

Qualification

Accounting degreeReconciliationPower BIMicrosoft ExcelMicrosoft Office

Required

Senior/Junior pursuing an accounting degree
Experience using Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint
Able to work full time hours during the internship
