Electrical Engineer
OTC Industrial Technologies is seeking an Electrical Engineer who will provide technical expertise and support for electrical products and systems. The role involves collaborating with customers and internal teams to design, implement, and troubleshoot electrical solutions while ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities
Assist in designing and developing electrical products and systems tailored to customer requirements
Provide technical recommendations and ensure compatibility with existing systems
Collaborate with customers to understand their technical needs and propose suitable solutions
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to product performance or integration
Manage application projects, ensuring timelines and budgets are met
Coordinate between internal teams and external stakeholders to align goals
Create and maintain technical documentation, including manuals, product specifications, and user guides
Provide input for technical proposals and reports
Conduct tests to ensure the proper functioning of electrical systems
Validate designs to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
Assist the sales team in product demonstrations and presentations
Provide technical training to customers and sales personnel
Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and competitor products
Suggest product improvements based on market feedback
Qualification
Required
Preferred a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering experience especially with VFD
5+ years of experience in electrical engineering, applications, or a related field
Proficiency in electrical systems, including electrical circuits, NEMA motors, power systems, motor control systems (VFDs), PLCs, and electrical testing equipment
Proficiency in electrical design software such as AutoCAD, EPLAN, MATLAB, or other electrical schematic/design tools
Familiarity with industry standards and regulations, including IEC, NEC, UL, IEEE, or similar
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve electrical and technical issues in products and systems
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a team-oriented environment
Preferred
MSHAW experience is a plus
