Director of Lending Compliance and Policy
Liberty Federal Credit Union is a full-service credit union seeking a Director of Lending Compliance and Policy to oversee compliance and policy documentation for all lending channels. This role involves managing compliance reporting, policy updates, and ensuring adherence to industry regulations while leading the Lending Compliance Department.

Responsibilities
Responsible for keeping all compliance documentation current with regulations. Work with each of the department heads to facilitate all compliance reporting, policy updates and administration for all lending channels (initially mortgages lending but will expand to other lending channels
Work with each lending department head to update policies annually and prepare pertinent policies for board review
Manage all 3rd party relationships regarding compliance and regulatory activity for the lending channels, and all things compliance with all internal and external audits. Examples are but not limited to:
All HMDA Reporting
All Fair Lending Activity, Reporting, Strategic review of 3rd Party Fair Lending such as nContracts. Communication of results to appropriate leadership teams. Facilitate any action items or corrective action plans with department heads
Coordination and facilitation of all internal and external audits and reviews
Lead the newly formed Lending Compliance Department and the associated staff. Ensure all team members are following our standard protocols for compliance management. Stay current on the requisite training requirements. Provide timely delivery of all critical information needed for each department
Demonstrate commitment to technology by maximizing the use of all platforms available in the most efficient manner. Stay informed of new technology and new 3rd party providers. Communicate recommendations to the leadership team regarding new providers that could provide reporting and services to LFCU
Any other duties that may be assigned by direct supervisor or leadership
Qualification
Required
Experience in lending compliance and policy documentation
Ability to manage compliance documentation and ensure it is current with regulations
Experience working with department heads to facilitate compliance reporting and policy updates
Experience managing 3rd party relationships regarding compliance and regulatory activity
Knowledge of HMDA Reporting and Fair Lending Activity
Experience coordinating and facilitating internal and external audits and reviews
Ability to lead a compliance department and manage associated staff
Commitment to staying current on requisite training requirements
Ability to maximize the use of technology and stay informed of new providers
Strong communication skills to convey critical information to leadership teams
