Responsibilities
Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and contractors at the front desk by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies
Monitor access to the facility, verifying credentials and maintaining visitor logs in accordance with location requirements
Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols
Communicate professionally with individuals entering or exiting the location, addressing inquiries and providing information as needed
Assist with emergency response activities as directed, supporting Allied Universal and client procedures
Report security-related incidents, unusual activity, or concerns to the appropriate personnel in a timely manner
Qualification
Required
Must be at least 21 years of age
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
Preferred
A guard card or license is preferred
Customer service experience is preferred
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred
