Test Engineering CO-OP (Spring 2026)
Kearfott Corporation is a global Aerospace and Defense supplier with a long history of innovation and excellence. They are seeking a Test Engineering CO-OP participant to join their Sensor Evaluation and Production Engineering Test team, where the candidate will help coordinate assembly and testing, develop test manufacturing instructions, and improve testing processes.

Responsibilities
Help in the coordination of assembly and testing
Develop, revise, and employ test manufacturing instructions and procedures
Interpret test and measurement data
Improve testing processes and tooling
Review of technical data
Performance assessment
Problem identification
Corrective action planning
And implementation
Work with engineering teams to understand and evaluate test results
Develop graphics displaying the results of analyses
Support reports and briefings describing the results and significance of analyses performed
Qualification
Required
Demonstrated creative problem-solving skills
GPA of 3.2 or above
Experience in Microsoft Office software
Excellent oral, written, and presentation communication skills
Currently enrolled in an accredited college/university degree program pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in: Computer Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or other similar engineering or scientific majors
Knowledgeable in some of the following areas: software programming, computer-aided design, analog/digital design, lasers, free-space or fiber optics, guidance & control, systems analysis, or systems integration
Have coursework, interest, motivation, and experience that provide the foundation to develop expertise in one or more of the above engineering specialties
Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
General knowledge and understanding of mathematical modeling and analysis methods
Must be able to work full-time (40 hours per week) for 16 weeks during the Spring 2026 semester (January 2026 – May 2026)
