Responsibilities

Complete structural calculations using analysis software and/or by hand for residential and commercial projects using materials including wood, structural steel, concrete, and masonry

Prepare structural plans using Computer Aided Design (CAD) software

Perform site visits to assess field issues or provide structural inspections and prepare corresponding reports

Develop and manage projects with clients

Provide quality control and quality assurance on all project work

Assist with proposals for existing/future clients and projects

Required

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university

Two (2) years of related experience in structural design and engineering in role offered or Engineer Intern, Structural Design Assistant, or close related civil engineering position

Demonstrated experience with AutoCAD

Reading and interpreting construction drawings

Calculating results from structural inspections

Developing and managing project clients
