The Associate, QA Engineer will ensure the quality of software products, including web and progressive web apps, by expanding automated testing and conducting thorough testing procedures.

Responsibilities

Continue to expand automated testing for new features

Complete the setup for our automated API tests using Pact

Conduct testing procedures for our various applications and products

Verify bugs reported by other stakeholders

Collaborate with our Product team and other Engineers to ensure optimal testability in our design and building processes

Develop a test case management library to inform processes and efficiency

Brainstorm and execute innovative ways to provide high-quality software

Qualification

Required

At least 2-3 years of experience in manual and automated testing and QA of a complex web application

Skilled in documenting and logging bugs in a tool like Jira

Ability to write good repro instructions

Good at figuring out if two bugs likely have the same root cause

Ability to look at source code and more or less tell what it's supposed to be doing

Ability to use JavaScript to compare two long lists of numbers to see if they're the same

Familiar with git and know never to force push to main

Familiar with playwright or other testing frameworks

A go-getter, who is willing to try new things, read documentation, break stuff, and figure out how to fix it
