Senior Analyst Master Data

Responsibilities
Manage the workflows in Saint-Gobain's MDM assigned master data workflow tools for SGNA scope. Partner with BU’s to be viewed as master data experts. Work with BU’s to develop and maintain master data standards
Lead the development of enhancements to the assigned workflow tools and work closely with the IT teams (global and regional teams) to ensure completion and sign off
Manage projects with the businesses to periodically cleanse and normalize master data elements and recommend improvements both within the record as well as across records inside of the ERP systems
Lead and manage complex, cross-functional master data projects (e.g., M&A integrations, ERP migrations, process automation), including project planning, stakeholder engagement, and execution
Serve as the liaison between business units, IT, and offshore teams for all master data initiatives
Drive change management efforts, ensuring successful adoption of new processes, tools, and standards
Annual trade compliance review for all active suppliers
Lead analysis of data in support of M&A activities
Manage the oversight process for the master data function
Validate sensitive data fields before vendor master data requests are sent to the offshore team
Formally and systematically notify the offshore team of any inactive or duplicate vendors that should be inactivated or blocked in the ERP systems
Monitor and report on compliance with expected policies, procedures and internal controls for SGNA master data activity
Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities in coordination with the offshore team
Perform other duties as required including participating on initiatives to meet SSC goals and objectives and customer-sponsored special projects
Develop, train, implement, monitor, and report to SSC Management KPIs for the master data function highlighting areas working well and areas for increased focus
Ensure adherence to all relevant policies, procedures, and internal controls for master data activities
Lead or participate in audits, trade compliance reviews, and special projects as assigned
Qualification
Required
This position is required to work at our Malvern, PA office three days per week
Bachelor's degree (technical or business related) in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain or equivalent experience
7+ years applicable work experience with master data management is required. Prior experience servicing internal customers in a complex organization is preferred
Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Deep expertise in ERP systems (SAP, QAD, etc.), workflow tools, and advanced Excel; experience with digital transformation initiatives strongly preferred
Experience using raw data sets and analytics sourced through tools
Demonstrated initiative and ability to work independently and proactively engage cross functional constituents
Ability to influence others without having direct authority and demonstrated initiative and ability to work independently and proactively engage cross functional constituents
Experienced in applying and following established procedures and work instructions to complete day to day responsibilities, which are generally well-defined and straight-forward, but require occasional deviations
Good written / verbal communication skills. Listen to others to interact in the most appropriate and constructive way
Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast paced environment, demonstrating a high level of integrity and accuracy
Self-starter. Proven ability to work without frequent supervision and handle confidential information
Preferred
Prior experience servicing internal customers in a complex organization is preferred
Experience with digital transformation initiatives strongly preferred
