Responsibilities
Design and implement AI solutions using LLMs, Copilot Agents, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) techniques
Develop and maintain custom AI agents within the Microsoft environment for internal tools (e.g., curated Copilot Agents, coordination agents) and client-facing applications (e.g., ordinance code database agents)
Integrate AI solutions with SharePoint, Azure Storage, and other enterprise systems
Build and deploy AI applications leveraging Azure AI Foundry, Azure AI, and related services
Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and optimized for the Azure cloud environment
Implement MCP (Model Context Protocol) for structured context handling
Develop RAG pipelines for efficient knowledge retrieval from internal and external data sources
Collaborate with business units to identify opportunities for AI-driven process improvements
Work with GIS teams to incorporate spatial data into AI workflows
Stay current with emerging AI technologies and frameworks
Advocate for responsible AI practices and compliance with data governance standards
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Data Science, Engineering or related field or experience
2-5 years of related experience
Proven experience in Python or C# development and AI/LLM frameworks
Hands-on experience with LLMs, AI agents, and RAG implementations
Strong knowledge of Azure AI services, Azure AI Foundry, and Azure Storage (preferred)
Familiarity with SharePoint integration and enterprise application development
Understanding of GIS systems and spatial data workflows (preferred)
Preferred
Experience with Copilot Agents and Microsoft ecosystem integrations
Knowledge of MCP and advanced context management techniques
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Knowledge and experience with AI coding tools including custom configurations, instructions and extensions
